Experienced and commercially minded retail director, head fashion buyer and concept developer with over 13 years of experience from market-leading companies in the Norwegian fashion retail-, design-, and commercial real estate industry.

2018 - present

At the end of 2018, I started Buzzi Fashion Retail Consulting, where I advise retailers, brands and commercial real estate developers on the planning, management, and optimization of their retail and development strategies. Through extensive experience in the Norwegian retail industry, I offer advice and strategies through all stages of project development, from conceptualisation to brand outreach, brand negotiation, planning, buying, private label development, merchandising, vendor mix, branding, and marketing.

My passion is spotting new retail trends, brand adjacenties, and creating and curating retail environments that deliver business objectives and gets results.

2015 - 2018

Director of EGER, through Promenaden Management. EGER is the leading high-end shopping center in Norway, representing over 300 high-end and luxury brands from 23 high-quality concepts. Promenaden Management is an asset management company owned by Meyer Bergman (previously Søylen), specialising in real estate development and management with a focus on luxury and high-end retail concepts. Oslo assets include EGER, Steen & Strøm, and street-level luxury mono-brand stores, together creating the shopping destination Promenaden Fashion District. This was an exciting journey where I worked together with great teams on redeveloping the Eger brand- and commercial identity, tenant-mix, concept and strategy, daily operations, tenant communication, marketing strategies, worked closely with the retailers, and launched major joint projects such as the Promenaden Fashion District.

2009 - 2015

Head Buyer and Concept Developer, Høyer Luxury. Høyer is the leading chain of high-end fashion stores in Norway. Høyer Eger is the flagship store of the Høyer Group, which consist of 22 multi-brand stores, 9 mono-brand stores and a wholesale agency for some of Scandinavia's strongest brands. At Høyer I was responsible for starting up, developing and managing Høyer Luxury in Oslo, a concept that we further developed into more cities in Norway. In charge of the international luxury brands in Høyers brand portfolio. Sourced, approached and selected suitable brands, negotiated agreements with the brands as well as doing the buying in all categories; ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and accessories. These seven years as a concept developer and head buyer for Høyer Luxury sent me on countless trips to Paris and Milan, where I saw the top luxury fashion houses from the inside. I worked with brands such as Givenchy, Saint Laurent, Céline, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Proenza Schouler, Chloé, Lanvin, DvF, Helmut Lang, and Isabel Marant to name a few.

2006 - 2008

After my studies at University of Technology in Sydney, I headed home to Oslo to work at Bik Bok's design department as a buying-, and design assistant. Bik Bok is an international womenswear retail chain for young women, with over 200 stores. As a fresh designer, it was an inspiring process to work through the journey from idea to finished product, and the job allowed me to take exciting trips to Hong Kong to work on production and design. Later I moved on to another retail chain, Lene V, working on establishing an accessory brand. I did everything from design and vendor sourcing in India, -to selling the collections to the franchise stores.
